Animals were immunized with a synthetic polypeptide with the sequence (C)GSSKSKPKDPSQRRHS corresponding to peptides 2 to 17 of the v-src oncogene. In immunoblot screening, the antibody detects a 60 kd protein in the src transformed T2 cell line. A number of additional proteins are also detected in cell lines and embryo tissues including a 50 kd protein in the urine of cancer patients as well as the amniotic fluid of pregnant patients. |

Medium Renewal: Add fresh medium every 2 to 3 days (depending on cell density) Cultures can be maintained by the addition of fresh medium or replacement of medium. Alternatively, cultures can be established by centrifugation with subsequent resuspension at 2 X 10 exp5 viable cells/ml. Maintain cell density between 2 X 10 exp5 and 2 X 10 exp6 viable cells/ml. |
